How to get started with the StepUp Horse app?

  1. Download app on App Store/Play Store (Have a link which directly takes them to download the app)

  2. Launch the app

  3. Grant requested permissions

  4. Press “Create New Account” or use the Google/Apple sign-in

  5. Enter your details

  6. You are now on the “Barn/home” screen. Press “Add new” then “New horse”

  7. Enter the details of the horse, then “Add New Horse”

How to add a device to your team?

  1. From the Barn/home screen in the app, press “Add New’, then “New Device”

  2. Shake slowly the device (a slow green blinking light will appear)

  3. Press the “+”

  4. After a few seconds, a device called “StepUp xxxxxx” will appear. Press it.

  5. The device is now added to the team

  6. From the Barn/home screen, press on the device you just added.

  7. A menu will appear. Press “Pair”.

  8. From the list of horses, press on the horse you want the device to record the data for.

  9. Done.

How to get started with Device?

  1. (optional) Shake the device (a slow green blinking light will appear)

  2. Insert the device in the belt casing. Ensure it is pushed all the way. Put on the locking strap.

  3. If required, add extensions on the belt (depending the size of the horse)

  4. Apply the gel on all three electrodes

  5. The two electrodes (up & down on left side of belt) should face the front of the horse, needs to be placed after the first left leg (near heart of the horse)

  6. Put the belt on the horse (make sure, the electrodes should have contact with the skin)

  7. Put the girth on the horse and it should go above/on the belt next to the box (so the belt doesn’t move)

  8. Check the real time data on the app

  9. Place the saddle on the horse and go for ride

After the training:

  1. Remove the device from the box attached to the belt

  2. Clean the belt with brush after training (remove the hair, so it’s ready for next training)

  3. Charge the device (put it on charger and green light should appear continuously)

 

How to delete your account?

To delete your account on StepUp Horse App, you can follow the instructions given below:

 

Select “Account” from the bottom left, when you open your StepUp Horse app.
Choose “Settings”.
Scroll down and choose “Delete My Account” at the bottom of the page.
Press “Confirm” to complete the procedure.

Afterwards, your account will be deleted, and all your personal data will be erased.
